Learning to use design software from Macromedia
For about one and a half months people here in Barcelona goes crazy buying all kind of things that surely they won’t need.
That is just everyday matter over there in Honk Kong, so did not surprise me a lot. Anyways I went though this in a previous post (see below).
Almost everyday me and father bunny have been receiving nice cards from everywhere, well, actually not so much. A friend of father bunny sent him two. Thank you Teresa !!
One of them it was an animated Flash movie.
Of course me and father bunny had no idea about using that software, I am artist, little bunny artist but I used to create concepts instead of seeking for perfection.
Father bunny first refused, but at the end we decided to make a nice movie. I wanted to give this animated card to my beloved Cutnejo.
He has been flirtering around lately with big babes with long curly hair (http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/26321213/) ,
little ones – much more than tiny little bunny my cousin – (http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/26171130/).
To tell you the truth I always get mad about that, but I have decided to grab my Cutnejo by his ears, get into my special custom made Miffa Chan DB8 and take him with me a nice ski resort.

In 2005 the best sites were using Macromedia Flash to be interactive, so we tried to learn how to produce our animations with some success. Revisiting this blog is an opportunity to remind about technologies, companies or products that were on the top and than no longer exist nowadays.
Macromedia Flash
The early 2000s were a revolutionary time for web design, with the emergence of Macromedia Suite and its flagship product, Flash.
This powerful software tool had the capability to transform static websites into engaging and interactive experiences, creating a whole new realm of possibilities for web designers.
The Dominance of Flash
Flash was a game-changer in the world of web design, offering users a new level of interactivity and user experience. It allowed designers to create animations, interactive graphics, and videos that made websites more engaging and visually appealing. With its powerful scripting language, Flash enabled designers to create complex websites that were highly functional and responsive.
Flash was not only an incredibly powerful tool but also a user-friendly one, which allowed designers to work with its many features and capabilities with ease. The software was compatible with a wide range of platforms and browsers, making it a versatile tool for creating websites for desktops and mobile devices.
The Phasing Out of Flash and Macromedia: Apple
Macromedia Suite and Flash had a significant impact on the web design industry, but by the mid-2000s, the software began to lose its dominance.
One of the reasons for this was the emergence of mobile devices, which posed a challenge to Flash’s compatibility with mobile platforms. The rise of HTML5 also contributed to the phasing out of Flash, as HTML5 offered many of the same features and capabilities as Flash, but with better compatibility and faster loading times.
This was in fact the main reason, apple never wanted to include Flash and there are winners and looser in Apple vs The World
In 2005, Adobe acquired Macromedia and began integrating its software products into the Adobe Creative Suite. While Macromedia Suite continued to exist for a few years, it eventually phased out, and its products were integrated into Adobe Creative Suite. Today, Flash is no longer supported by Adobe, and web browsers have stopped supporting Flash-based content altogether.
