The first time I was there with FB he wanted to experience swimming in a large 150 meters swimming pool that is several hundred meters high.
Total deception, you cannot swim and the pool is divided in several parts that don’t allow you to go from one side to other side.
It’s like a giant bathtub for lazy guys and girls with a nice view.
Sometime ago while watching Solveig’s SMASH we recognized The Sands Marina Bay and we decided to pay a visit again to this place and some clubbing at Zooks.
After all, there are not so many exciting things to do in Singapore, I would say It’s the real “Lazy Town”
Additional notes in 2023
I have travelled a lot of times to singapore and I have only have in my ming the last one that was on 2022. funny enough I love Martin solveig music even more than Miffa and Father did.
In 2022 the pool can not be visited unless you’re an Hotel guest, but if you go to any pool restaurant you can actually see it.
How big is your bathtub?
Zouk Singapore
By the way, at the end of the video Martin entered a disco where he actually was djing. That club was Zouk
The club has been relocated from its original place in Singapore but it used to be unde the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel where we use to stay while in the city. The club moved from Jiak Kim complex (the Mambo Jambo set is actually the old parking lot) to Clarke Quay.
More coincidences is that when we went to Kuala Lumpur for the first time (driving from Singapore) we stayed in from of Zouk KL, just across the street. To many coincidences?
